Career
Joey was drafted by the Flordia Panthers in the 3rd round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. He played at Boston University in the NCAA before going to the juniors and playing for the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL.
In 2000 he played two seasons at the Philadelphia Phantoms of the AHL and halfway through the 2001-02 he played for the Chicago Wolves of the AHL. He spent one season at the Chicago Wolves but got called up to play 3 games for the Atlanta Thrashers.
Then he went back to the Chicago Wolves in 2003 and during the NHL lockout he played for the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.
He has played for the Anaheim Ducks since the 2005-05 season.
