The Ducks announced today that they have signed defenseman Shane Hnidy to a two-year contract. Per club policy, financial terms were not disclosed.
Hnidy was acquired by Atlanta in exchange for a 2006 fourth-round draft pick on July 30, 2005 and spent the past two seasons with the Thrashers.
